The FCR-1411 is a stand-alone color radar. The daylight and steady picture is presented on a 14" color CRT display.

Two EVRM's and Electronic Bearing Line are provided as standard features. Target plotting in blue or black at intervals of 15 or 30 seconds, 1,3, 6 minutes or continuously is also a standard feature. Range and range interval in use, pulse length, presentation mode, EBL readout, plot interval and EVRM readout are digitally displayed on the screen.

10 ranges are provided from 1/4 to 72 n.m. The interface is designed for easy operation by a combination of touchpad keys and rotary controls. Tuning condition is displayed on screen to permit easy receiver tuning in the absence of targets. A gyro can be connected for North-up or Course-up presentation.
